Communications Director Job Description

In addition to driving the direction of the organization, you’ll also be responsible for:

  • Posting events to our website, meeting, and Facebook pages (and any other social media possible)
  • Composing and Publishing newsletters
  • Running a small team of historians to document events at HSGP for the Newsletter and media coverage
  • Put together ad campaigns to boost awareness of our community
  • Respond to messages from the website or social media
  • Designing and ordering business cards, pamphlets, brochures, signage, apparel or other swag
  • Assembling a small team to assist with the above
