Sunday Speaker: Bob McWhirter – 19th Amendment: Recognizing Women’s Right to Vote

Our favorite constitutional expert is back!

The 19th Amendment: Helping America Become Herself.  This engaging PowerPoint presentation discusses the origins of the 19th Amendment, giving women the right to vote, in the context of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the 13th Amendment (the abolishment of slavery), and American culture. The 19th Amendment did more than give women the right to vote, it was literally part of what helped America become herself.

Attorney and Bill of Rights expert, Robert McWhirter, leads a presentation and question-and-answer session about the 19th Amendment, recognizing women's right to vote.

**Phil Wewiora from Outlaw Dirty Money, will be available to notarize and collect any petitions that may have been picked up at our meeting on Aug 25. (not related to this meeting)**
