Sunday Speaker: Luke Douglas, Get To Know Our Executive Director!

This meeting is dedicated to getting to know our new Executive Director Luke Douglas. Bring your questions!

Luke Douglas is a pragmatic progressive, veteran activist, and constitutional lawyer who serves as Executive Director for the Humanist Society of Greater Phoenix.

A former fundamentalist Christian and homeschool graduate, he spent years as a conservative political operative before curiosity compelled him to question the worldview he had been taught. He became an atheist, dropped out of seminary, kissed his conservative career goodbye, and never looked back.

With experience that spans the ideological spectrum, he brings a wealth of knowledge to bear for HSGP and a passion for the humanist community. He holds a juris doctorate in law and a bachelors degree in communications. Contact Luke here for speaking engagements or writing opportunities.

cleardot.gifThe meeting is free and open to the public. Doors open at 9:00 am for socializing with an optional Continental breakfast available for a $5 donation. The meeting begins at 10:00 am.

A Children's Program is available during the Speaker Meeting. Please see the HSGP Meetup for the Children's Program at this meeting for more information and to RSVP with the number of children attending.
