Let’s Eat Geography!

Everyone loves to eat, yes? Of course we do! Since we can't visit every country we study in our Let's Geography Meetups, we are doing the next best thing and sampling the local cuisine, when possible.

In April we discussed Turkmenistan and I can safely report that everyone learned something in the effort, as none of us knew anything about the place beforehand. We will now eat food from Uzbekistan because it's right next door and there are no Turkmenistan restaurants in town and, as always, because I said so.

I spoke with Cafe Chenar today and they are open for in-person dining and delighted that we are coming back. Bring your masks, get vaccinated, stay safe.
