Join HSGP's Volunteer, mutual Aid, and Solidarity Team (VAST) for a community-driven event where we’ll be packing essential period supplies for our unhoused neighbors. Periods don’t stop for anyone, and access to menstrual products is a basic need that is often overlooked. By volunteering your time, you’ll help ensure that our community members living on the streets have access to the supplies they need with dignity.
We’ll be assembling care packages filled with pads, tampons, liners, and more—everything that can make a difference during a challenging time. Every contribution counts, whether it’s packing supplies or simply lending your hands and heart to the cause.
What to bring:
Just bring yourself! We’ll have everything you need for packing, but if you'd like to donate supplies, check our list of needed items below:
- Individually wrapped tampons, pads, and liners
- Hand sanitizers
- Feminine wipes
We're partnering with the Tempe-based organization Women4Women for this event! You can read more about their work over at KJZZ.
The event begins at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 11. We will likely be working on the patio space.
You can find more info and RSVP on our Meetup page.
