Let’s Eat Geography! Are Venezuela’s Empanada’s Really the Best???

Everyone loves to eat, yes? Of course we do! Since we can't visit every country we study in our Let's Geography Meetups, we are doing the next best thing and sampling the local cuisine, when possible.

This month, we discussed Venezuela and we'll be visiting Que Chevere, a great little Venezuelan restaurant in Mesa that is owned and operated by Maria Fernanda and Orvid Cutler. Maria Fernanda moved to the United States in 2003, from Barquisimeto, Venezuela.

Check-out the menu: https://quechevereaz.com/restaurant-menu. As this event has become a little too popular and crowded, it will henceforth be limited to those people who attended the discussion Meetup. If you missed the discussion but are generally a regular, send me a message through Meetup and I'll let you know if there is still room.

Please RSVP via Meetup and keep your RSVP updated if you have a change of plans so we can have a more or less accurate headcount. I'll be calling the restaurant to let them know how many to expect.
