On the West Side: Tory Roberg’s Legislative Update and Lowdown!

Hey west side people! Did you miss Tory's report in Mesa? Here is a more convenient opportunity for you.

Recently, Tory Roberg of Secular Coalition for Arizona spoke at the Humanist Society of Greater Phoenix center (HSGP) in Mesa. The presentation was very informative and provided a secular insight into the goings-on in the Arizona legislature. Tory's enthusiasm and optimism were infectious and inspiring!

Join us in the west valley area as Tory reprises her presentation, and listen to her share inside stories of her work at the Arizona State Capitol to promote the separation of church and state. She'll give us a recap of legislation, lawmakers, and the secular studies program as well as an overview of SCA, for those of you who might not be familiar. As time permits, the presentation will be followed by Q&A.

Note: At this time the meeting location is not yet decided, pending the level of interest and the number of attendees. However, the location will be in either Glendale or Peoria. If this presentation is something you're interested in attending, please RSVP as soon as possible! Seats may necessarily need to be limited at some point so first come, first serve!

This will be a joint Meetup between PAMG and HSGP.

Your host,
David S
