Darwin Day Dinner: Evolving Through Time
HSGP has been celebrating science and reason for DECADES! Long ago we would convene for a meal in a local seafood restaurant and explore our inner fish. Brunch, lunch or dinner: we have mixed it up through the years. Let's come together this year for an evening of good food and great company on Saturday, February 14th, 2026 at our wonderful community center. It is also Arizona Statehood Day, so bring your date for a romantic dinner. Children are welcome, so you save on babysitter costs. Win, win, win!
5 PM Happy Hour with Snacks (Bring your own adult beverage if you are particular)
6 PM Dinner: primordial soup, now pond scum free
> > grilled fish, from the depths
> > rotisserie chicken, the dinosaurs are still with us
> > steamed vegetables, most of which are variations of cabbage
> > rice pilaf, thank you, agriculture
> > desserts involving both refined and natural fruit sugars
7 PM ScienceTrivia Game, raffles, silent auction and door prizes
