Sunday Speaker - Infrastructure and its Future Challenges - Danae Hernandez-Cortes

Description:

In response to the global impacts of climate change, policymakers are looking to decrease global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and achieve carbon neutral economies. However, some of these policies face significant infrastructure challenges. To transition to a just and carbon neutral economy, we need to understand how energy policies interact with existing infrastructure and its potential future challenges under climate change. This talk will describe some of these challenges and examine the role of policy design to address them.
