Arizona is one of the HOTTEST PLACES ON EARTH from May to September. Heat related illnesses cause over 250 deaths and nearly 3,000 emergency room visits annually. Low income families, older adults, and people without adequate shelter are among those especially at risk.
Every summer, organizations and individuals come together to provide heat relief by offering water and other essentials to survive the extreme Arizona temperatures. The need in our neighborhoods is tremendous but we can each DO A SMALL PART TO HELP.
YOUR CONTRIBUTION OF $10 OR MORE to HSGP’s Summer Heat Relief Water Drive will help make sure everyone stays hydrated and safe in the Arizona heat.
We are asking for monetary donations rather than actual bottles of water. We know that pooling our resources and buying in bulk allows us to give more. You can help us COLLECT A TON OF WATER without any of the heavy lifting!
