Arizona's extreme summer heat claims hundreds of lives each year in Maricopa County, making access to water and heat relief supplies a matter of survival.
On Saturday, July 25, our team will distribute supplies at light rail stations and bus stops throughout downtown Mesa, reaching people who are especially vulnerable to dangerous temperatures. Our goal is to raise $400 to purchase bottled water, cooling scarves, and electrolyte packets to help people stay hydrated and reduce the risk of heat-related illness. Every donation, no matter the amount, directly supports these supplies and helps us provide relief to those who need it most. If we have any leftover supplies or funds after this event, they will be used to continue hosting future heat relief outreach events so we can keep serving our community throughout the summer.
