Musical Quiz - Fun, Prizes & Refreshments!
Hal Saferstein and Zenaido Quintana are teaming up to find out how well you know your great American male vocalists!
Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Tony Bennett, Andy Williams, Paul Simon, Elton John, Roy Orbison and many others are included. We will play short excerpts from their most famous hits and see how many you can identify.
Come for the prizes - or just for the fun!
Free and open to the public. Bring your friends!
BYOB - snacks to share always welcome.
(Please Note: We usually meet on the 2nd Friday of the month, but we changed it to the 3rd Friday - this month only!)
The HSGP Humanities Project holds free and open meetings on the 2nd Friday of each month at 7pm at HCC. The majority of the evening is given over to one or more of our HSGP members or guests, to share with us some aspect of arts & humanities that they are passionate about!
Throughout the year we will invite you to join us at free or inexpensive excursions to various arts & humanities events around the Valley.
We are committed to bringing outstanding people from the world of humanities to present to HSGP at least once per year at the Sunday Speaker Meetings.
