We will celebrate the life of Michael Steiner, who chose to end his life on or about June 27. Michael spent the last year of his life being very active with several local secular organizations. He also donated virtually all of his savings to these and other secular national organizations.

On August 10, led by newly ordained Humanist Celebrant Luke Douglas, we will share our experiences with and appreciation of Michael, for the special person that he was.

There will be a reading of Michael's own story, and a poem that he was touched by. A few speakers will share. The local secular organizations that Michael loved will be represented:
-The Humanist Society of Greater Phoenix
-Americans United for Separation of Church and State, Greater Phoenix
-FFRF Valley of the Sun Chapter
-Secular Coalition for Arizona
-Secular Student Alliance

Anyone who wishes to say a few words will have the opportunity as well.

In lieu of flowers, Michael would prefer donations to the above-mentioned local organizations. You will have the opportunity to donate to the organizations of your choice by cash, check or credit card.

Refreshments will be served.
