Charter Schools Unraveled

Kathy Hoffman, special educator in the Peoria Unified School District, public education advocate, and Humanist Candidate for state Superintendent of Public Instruction will be joining HSGP to help unravel the complex matter of charter schools in Arizona.
There are many misconceptions about charter schools. Are they private or public? Who profits from charter schools? What do we know about academic outcomes? Join us to learn about the, advantages, disadvantages, and impacts of charter schools in Arizona.

The meeting is free and open to the public. Doors open at 9:00 am for socializing with an optional Continental breakfast available for a $5 donation. The meeting begins at 10:00 am.

A Children's Program is available during the Speaker Meeting. Please see the HSGP Meetup for the Children's Program at this meeting for more information and to RSVP with the number of children attending.
