Beth Lewis is a co-founder of Save Our Schools Arizona, a grassroots volunteer organization dedicated to protecting Arizona's public schools, and a Rodel Exemplary teacher who has taught 5th and 6th grade in Arizona for 11 years. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame and her Master’s degree in Education from Arizona State University. She believes all of her students, as well as her own children, deserve a fully-funded public education.
Arizona's schools are often in the headlines, and this school year has certainly been no exception. Join our conversation with Beth Lewis, cofounder and director of Save Our Schools Arizona, as she tackles the complex issues of education funding, threats to Arizona's public school system, how local schools have navigated COVID, and current education bills moving through the Arizona legislature.
