Sunday Speaker: What Three Years of Intersectional Analysis Does to Humanists

Tania Gerard and other members of HSGP who have been part of the Intersectional Book Study since 2020 reflect on their learning and challenges.

When we started the Intersectional Book Study in 2020, we couldn't have imagined the events that shifted our conversations from theoretical discussions to real-life debate and action-oriented reflection. Two years into our education endeavor, we have grown as a group and as individuals, sharing perspectives, questions, and experiences about what it means to be a human and the different circumstances that can determine that experience. We come together as a panel to share how these years have impacted our lives and the work that we see ahead of us as Humanists.
