Legislative Updates from the Secular Coalition

Tory will give an update on the bills moving through the state legislature and talk about the important work the Secular Coalition is doing at the state capitol.  Members will receive the most up to date information on what's happening right now at the state legislature. She will also talk about our "Day at the Capitol" scheduled for February 12th (hopefully everyone will already be signed up to attend before the talk on February 11th).

Tory Roberg is a social worker who changed paths into public policy advocacy when she realized that real change occurs at the policy level. She is a well-respected, professional lobbyist at the state Capitol, known for her work to promote minority groups and otherwise unpopular issues among the legislative majority.

The meeting is free and open to the public. Doors open at 9:00 am for socializing with an optional Continental breakfast available for a $5 donation. The meeting begins at 10:00 am.

A Children's Program is available during the Speaker Meeting. Please see the HSGP Meetup for the Children's Program at this meeting for more information and to RSVP with the number of children attending.
