Join Arizona State University's School of Earth & Space Exploration for associate professor, Dr. Patrick Young's upcoming New Discoveries lecture: "Supernovae: Life and Death Among the Stars"  

About the Speaker: Dr. Patrick Young is an associate professor in the School of Earth and Space Exploration. Young earned his BS degrees in Astronomy and Physics from the University of Texas at Austin in 1998 and his Ph.D. in Astronomy from the University of Arizona in 2004. He was a Director's Postdoctoral Fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory for two years before joining SESE as an assistant professor in 2007. He is currently the Associate Director of Community Outreach for SESE and focuses his research on theoretical astrophysics and astrobiology.
