Limits of Free Speech - Legal and Ethical

This topic is certainly appropriate for the times, and not just in the United States! There have been so many controversies of late regarding what speech is allowed, what is not, what limits can/should people put on someone else's speech regardless of who gave them a platform to speak (think Milo Yiannopoulos for example)? And looking at this from both a legal and ethical perspective is going to be very exciting indeed. And what about HSGP? Are we inappropriately curtailing free speech the way we do/run things? That alone could be very provocative and I'd very much like to hear some perspectives on that. Let's get together and talk about it!  Please RSVP at Inquiring Minds.

Find some articles or links to help with the discussion if you like and feel free to post related articles in the comments section of the Meetup page for this event. Inquiring Minds

If anybody can get there early, by around 8:45, I will need help setting up tables and chairs. I'm not supposed to lift anything heavy right now. Much appreciated. I may post a Meetup comment on the day before if I manage to get it set up early so check back the evening before if you were planning to help with set up.

If you are interested, a group of us like to go out to lunch afterward. We will wrap up the meeting around noon so you just might be hungry by then.

Hosted by Richard Dewey the first Saturday of each month.
