Cheech Marin will talk about his life as an actor in TV and film, his role as an arts advocate, and his passion for collecting Chicano art. Marin has amassed one of the world’s largest and most comprehensive private collections of Chicano art. Chicano art is characterized by rich colors and bold, intense imagery that embody and embrace U.S. Latino traditions.

This special engagement is in conjunction with the exhibition 10 pick 10, which will premiere at Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum on Friday, September 11th at 6pm.
Reserve your ticket(s) asap. Meet Jennifer near entrance to Piper Reperatory Theater by about 6:50 pm. I don't know if seats are assigned, so we may or may not be able to sit together, but we can at least say hi!
